The blog is changing and it's time to get serious about content, information, and knowledge (4/23/25)
Hello dear readers, all three of you. I've been thinking about what it is I'd like to do with this blog, and it's struck me - I want to make it a daily routine where I discuss the topics running through my head, regardless of whether or not I'm qualified to give opinions on them.
I'll address the obvious - this is meant to resemble an article viewed through a Bloomberg terminal, only because I think it looks pretty cool. The font isn't entirely 1:1 and the colors may or may not be correct but it's as close as I'll get for now. It all looks pretty slick.
For a while I was trying to develop my own style on here and even though I still want to pursue that, I'm currently really into the way this looks. As I stare at it, the font resembles the Star Wars introduction text more than it does Bloomberg so maybe it'll be changed once I get the actual font downloaded.
Ideally I use this as a way of discussing non-crypto topics, because even though I already do/have done this more frequently than in the past, it should be more of a regular thing. I'm graduating college in less than 48 hours and it's time to be professional.
I published a very long report on April 8th, discussing everything to do with distributed/decentralized training, and you can read it here. It's really good and definitely the best thing I've written in a while, maybe ever - my January report was also very unique but attracted more of a niche audience.
It's hard to write on Substack these days and get attention for it on Twitter (the app currently known as X) but I do it because it's all I know. If this blog starts getting more readers then maybe eventually I become a knower dot online maxi, but this is doubtful. Maybe the most important part of this is using it as an intellectual exercise for myself where I learn to write more coherent thoughts without stressing over reception (since no one will read it anyways).
There's a wide range of topics I'd like to write about soon and a laundry list of articles, reports, blog posts, PDFs, and other documents that need read post-graduation. But I'll be honest here, after tomorrow I'll probably just rest for a few days, avoid the internet more than I have been and enjoy the nice weather.
This counts as a post for Wednesday, April 23rd (writing in EST time zone) but I will soon get to work on the topic of the day for Thursday, which will probably be geared toward macroeconomics since I'll be a college graduate with an economics degree. In the future this blog could also become a better way of disseminating interesting crypto info without worrying about beefing up posts for Substack or trying to wordsmith a tweet.
I feel like this new series or adventure deserves a name, but for now it will only have a new section positioned on my landing page. Thanks for reading though, and I'm looking forward to all that comes from this.
